Working out some ideas for something very personal. It’s intended to possess symbolism as it’s a piece that will contain my goals. I feel that, as an Artist, creating a work of art with one’s goals carefully considered, clearly written out within in the piece, and ultimately displayed in an area where one can regularly view it, will be invaluable! The basis for this project is one that I’ve assigned to others I’ve taught and will undoubtedly be required by new Apprentice as well. I thought I would lead by example.

Finished this past Friday, this is completely original design I created based on my Collector simply saying he wanted, “a Grim Reaper”.  From there, I was allowed complete artistic freedom.  I really got into this work!

Here is a progress shot of one of the pieces I worked on earlier this week.  It’s freehanded biomechanics.  Yes, I had references, but the ultimate outcome in the design and colors is completely original.  I’m excited to see this to fruition!

Here at The Black House, many came together over the weekend to share the vibrant lust for life that is so apparent in those whose nature resonates with the Black Flame. So, on this night of nights, whether sharing favored spaces with others of like mind or standing proudly alone, the real Satanists are celebrating their potency at commanding the world to move according to their varied wills. 

Here is to you, Fellows of Darkness, all who have been deeply touched by the thoughts of Magus Anton Szandor LaVey! I am enormously proud to have you as my diabolical comrades, enhancing the legacy begun in 1966 by our visionary founder through your extraordinary accomplishments. That magic is the greatest of all!

Today we celebrate the achievements of Magus Anton Szandor LaVey on the anniversary of his birth. His courage in creating an anti-occult, pragmatic, materialist perspective when so many about him were rushing into escapist spiritual doctrines showed his intransigent dedication that a carnal religion was due as an antidote to the vapid pipe dreams being offered by most others.

His intuitions were unique, capsulizing a human type which already existed but had not previously been properly named. The earthy outsiders now had a resonant moniker and a coherent philosophy which reflected their nature.

We give him a horned salute and thank him for this precious gift!

Freddy Krueger.  I couldn’t have been more thrilled to have a Collector come in and ask for a piece that is a part of my forte!  The same individual has a Michael Myers that I recently did and will post before too long.  This piece was done about 4 year ago.

Memorial piece to her Mom.  Tinkerbell obviously had meaning to her Mom, the Collector, or both.  I like the end result!
